At Northern California Fire Protection Compliance Group, our role is to actively monitor the work of all fire sprinkler companies engaged in working on Public Works and Prevailing Wage projects. In our position as a Labor Management Cooperation Committee, or LMCC, our primary goal is to ensure that that all contractors have an equal opportunity to bid on fire sprinkler public projects and enforce the federal and state labor codes throughout Public Works projects that occur in the nine counties that comprise the Bay area. In this manner, we represent the collective interest of both regulatory bodies and the employees of contractors selected to be utilized in Public Works projects.

With years of experience in the Public Works construction industry, we have acquired an intimate knowledge of all aspects of adequate fire protection, sprinkler systems, and the governmental regulations that oversee the installation and operation of these devices. Using this knowledge, we have been involved in many regulation programs to make sure that Public Works projects are being completed with all of the applicable regulative laws and that employees of these companies are being compensated based on the Prevailing Wage. Our investigations are completed using a combination of physical inspections and interviews with on-site workers.
